Recommended Manuscript Structure

Original research articles should generally follow the structure below. Other manuscript categories may use a structure appropriate to their purpose and methodology.

01.

Title Page

Provide the manuscript title, full names of all authors, institutional affiliations, corresponding author's email address and other relevant author information. Submit this separately from the anonymised manuscript.

02.

Abstract and Keywords

Provide a concise summary of the research purpose, methodology, principal findings and conclusions. Original research articles should normally include an abstract of 150–250 words and 4–6 keywords.

03.

Introduction

Establish the research background, identify the problem, review relevant literature and clearly state the objectives and significance of the study.

04.

Materials and Methods

Describe the research design, materials, participants or data sources, experimental procedures and analytical methods in sufficient detail to enable assessment and reproducibility.

05.

Results

Present the findings clearly and objectively. Use tables, figures and appropriate statistical information where necessary.

06.

Discussion

Interpret the findings in relation to the research objectives and existing literature. Explain the implications, limitations and significance of the results.

07.

Conclusion

Summarise the principal findings and contributions. Include recommendations and future research directions where appropriate.

08.

References

Include complete bibliographic details for all cited sources. Use the referencing system applicable to the relevant discipline and apply it consistently throughout the manuscript.

Tables, Figures and Referencing

Tables

Number tables consecutively and provide descriptive titles. Explain abbreviations and cite each table within the manuscript text.

Figures

Number figures consecutively and provide captions. Use clear, legible images and acknowledge reproduced or adapted material.

References

Apply a recognised referencing style appropriate to the subject area. Use it consistently and include DOI links where available.

02 · Editorial Assessment

Double-Blind Peer Review

IJRI follows a double-blind peer-review model. Author and reviewer identities are concealed from one another during the review process. Research manuscripts are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

Editorial decisions consider originality, methodological quality, relevance, clarity, research integrity and reviewer recommendations. Acceptance is determined by the editorial decision, not by payment of publication charges.

Preparing the anonymised manuscript

  • Remove author names and affiliations from the review copy.
  • Remove identifying acknowledgements from the review copy.
  • Check document properties for author-identifying metadata.
  • Provide the full author details on a separate title page.

03 · Research Integrity

Publication Ethics and Author Declarations

Originality and Duplicate Submission

Manuscripts must represent original scholarly work and must not be simultaneously under consideration by another journal.

Authorship and Contributions

All listed authors must have made meaningful contributions, approved the final manuscript and agreed to its submission.

Research Ethics and Consent

Research involving human participants, animals or sensitive data must include relevant ethics approval, consent and permissions where applicable.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors must disclose financial, personal or professional interests that could influence the research or its interpretation.

Funding and Acknowledgements

Identify research funding sources, institutional support and contributions from individuals who do not qualify for authorship.

Plagiarism and Research Integrity

All sources must be acknowledged. Submissions may undergo plagiarism and originality screening. Fabrication, falsification and other forms of research misconduct are unacceptable.

04 · Copyright and Licensing

Copyright and Open Access

IJRI intends to operate as an open-access journal, making published research available to readers without subscription charges. The final copyright ownership arrangement, author publishing agreement and Creative Commons licence will be specified in the journal's approved publication policies and made available to authors before submission.

05 · Publication Costs

Publication Charges

The following charges apply to accepted manuscripts. Payment is requested only after formal acceptance and does not influence peer review or editorial decisions.
