Journal Objectives
The International Journal of Research and Innovation (IJRI) aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform for communicating original research, scholarly studies, technical developments and innovative applications. Its scope encompasses established academic disciplines as well as emerging areas of research and technology.
The journal seeks to encourage research contributions that demonstrate academic relevance, appropriate research methodology, originality and meaningful engagement with their respective subject areas. It aims to support the dissemination of knowledge among researchers, academicians, students and professionals.
IJRI also recognises the value of interdisciplinary research that connects different fields of knowledge to examine complex problems, develop new approaches and explore practical applications.
Subject Coverage
The following subject areas define the journal's intended multidisciplinary coverage. Relevant topics within and across these disciplines may be considered, subject to the journal's editorial requirements.
Research focused on engineering principles, technological development, systems design and practical engineering applications.
Research addressing computational methods, intelligent systems, digital technologies and data-driven applications.
Scientific investigations that advance understanding of natural phenomena, physical systems and fundamental scientific principles.
Research in biological systems, agriculture, food production, biotechnology and sustainable management of living resources.
Research relating to human health, biomedical systems, healthcare technologies and scientific approaches to health challenges.
Scholarly studies examining language, literature, culture, history, communication and human thought.
Research examining social systems, human behaviour, educational practices and the development of communities.
Research covering business operations, economic systems, organisational management, financial practices and legal frameworks.
Research connecting design, creativity, technology and applied problem-solving to develop practical products and solutions.
IJRI recognises that significant research questions often extend beyond the boundaries of a single discipline. Contributions combining engineering, science, technology, healthcare, agriculture, social sciences, management or other fields are within the journal's intended scope when they present a coherent research objective and a clear academic contribution.
Submission Categories
The following manuscript categories are proposed for the journal. Final submission categories and formatting requirements will be specified in the formal author guidelines.
Reports presenting original investigations, research methods, results and conclusions.
Critical and structured reviews of existing research and developments within a subject area.
Studies describing technical methods, system development, experimental work and engineering applications.
Research combining methods, knowledge or perspectives from multiple academic disciplines.
Manuscripts should demonstrate a clear connection to at least one of the journal's stated research areas. Work that spans multiple disciplines should explain the relationship between those disciplines and the contribution of the study. Inclusion within the stated scope does not itself guarantee acceptance; manuscripts remain subject to the journal's editorial requirements and review procedures once formally established.
